Common questions

Which devices support the AI features?

AI summaries and Ask this PDF need macOS 26 or iOS/iPadOS 26 on a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on. On other devices the app shows key sentences from the document instead (no AI). Every other feature works without Apple Intelligence.

Which systems support translation?

On-device translation needs macOS 15 or iOS/iPadOS 18 or later. Your system may ask to download a language the first time.

Is redaction permanent?

Yes. Marked pages are rebuilt so the content under the black boxes is removed from the file, and each export is checked automatically.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs on your device. See the Privacy Policy.
